Seminary “Redemptoris Mater”
Studium Teologicum Galilaeae
Opened in Korazim (Galilee) in 2009 by Patriarch Fouad Twal with the support of the Ordinaries of the Archeparchies for Melkite and Maronite Church, and committed to the care of the Neocathecumenal Way. The Seminary was founded to train local young people and as well foreigner ones to diocesan priesthood preparing themselves for the service of the Church in the Holy Land or in other countries as priests fidei donum.
Since 2011 the Studium Theologicum Galilaeae of the Seminary “Redemptoris Mater” is affiliated with the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome as a section of the Patriarchal Latin Seminary of Beit Jala. This affiliation enables the students to receive, at the end of the program, the degree of Bachelor of Theology.
