Chaldean Catholic Patriarchal Exarchate

The Exarchate was established around 1908, at the time of H.B. Patriarch Joseph Emmanuel II Thomas, and entrusted to H.E. Bishop Ishaq Khoudabash.  From 1927 to 1944, the Vicariate remained vacant. The present residence was established by Father Boutros Sha’ya in 1955, at the time of H.B. Patriarch Joseph VII Ghanima.
