Born on January 8, 1941 in Zghorta (Liban), ordained Priest of Order of Discalced Carmelites on April 17, 1966 in Rome. Degree in Philosophy at the Arab University of Beiruth. In 1981 elected Provincial of Discalced Carmelites. On August 21, 1983 ordained Archbishop of Baghdad, Iraq. On July 30, 1999 appointed Vicar Apostolic of Beirut and Titular Archbishop of Arae in Numidia. Retired on August 2, 2016.

Born on January 12, 1925 in Chemillé, France; on September 8, 1945 professed in the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin. Ordained Priest OFM Cap on June 29, 1951.

On the 21 of November 1992 appointed Bishop of Djibouti and Ordained Bishop on March 14, 1993. Retired on March 13, 2001. Resides in France.

On  July 9, 1992 appointed Apostolic Vicar of Alep (Syria) and Titular Bishop of Raphanea; ordained Bishop on October 4, 1992. Retired on the 21 of November 2002.

Born on May 27, 1962 in Lebanon, entered Order of Friars Minor Conventual where solemnly professed on September 21, 1991. Ordained Priest OFM Conv. on April 17, 1993. Served as Custos OFM Conv. of the Orient and the Holy Land. On  August 2, 2016 was appointed Titular Bishop of Mareotes and Vicar Apostolic of Beirut (Lebanon). Consecrated Bishop on the 8th of October 2016 in Beirut.

Born on Dec. 1, 1947 in Luqsor, Egypt. In 1959, he attended the Seraphic College of Assiut and in 1963 entered the seminary of the Friars Minor of Guizeh. There he began his novitiate on Sept. 30, 1968 and by October 1, 1969 was making simple profession. After obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Theology, he made his solemn profession on Sept. 10, 1972 and on Sept. 24 of that same year was ordained a priest in Cairo, Egypt. In 1973 he enrolled at the Jesuit University of St. Joseph in Beirut where he pursued a License in Dogmatic Theology. From 1975-1989 he was involved in pastoral ministry at the Parish of Assiut, El Tawirat, and Nag Hammadi, where he worked extensively with the youth and as a school director. Then from 1989 to 1998 he served as Minister Provincial after which in 1998 he became Pastor in Boulacco (Cairo) while serving as Secretary of the Assembly of Catholic Hierarchs in Egypt.

On September 1, 2009 was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Alexandria of Egypt and Titular Bishop of Flumenzer; ordained Bishop on October 31, 2009.

Born in Bussnang TG, Switzerland, on April 22, 1942 to Wilhelm Hinder and Agnes Meile. He joined the Franciscan Capuchin Order in 1962, where he professed on September 18, 1966 and was ordained priest on July 4, 1967. After specialized studies in Canon Law in Munich and Fribourg, he obtained his Doctorate in Theology in 1976. He was active as a professor, in the formation of young Capuchins, later as provincial in Switzerland and as General Councillor in Rome for the worldwide Capuchin Order. On December 20, 2003, he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Arabia and was ordained Bishop on January 30, 2004 in Abu Dhabi. On March 21, 2005 he succeeded Msgr. Bernardo Gremoli as Vicar Apostolic of Arabia (UAE, Oman,Yemen, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia). After the Vicariate of Arabia was divided into the Northern and Southern Vicariates, Bishop Paul shepherds the Apostolic Vicariate of Southern Arabia (UAE, Oman, Yemen).

Member of the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant Peoples, a consultor to the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

Born on  August 3,1947 in Aïn Zebdeh (Lebanon); took his perpetual vows in the Order of the Friars Minor in 1972; ordained Priest O.F.M. on  June 28, 1973. After a period spent as a parochial vicar in Alexandria, Egypt , he worked in Jerusalem at the parish of St. Saviour and became its parish priest in 1975. From 1983 to 1998 he was also a priest in Bethlehem, after which he returned to Jerusalem where he ministered until 2004. That year he was transferred to Syria where he has been guardian and parish priest of St. Francis in Aleppo and vicar general for Latin rite Catholics in the north of Syria.

On April 15, 2013 was appointed Apostolic Administrator “sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis” of Alep (Syria), and on  November 4, 2013 – Apostolic Vicar of Aleppo and Titular Bishop of Rusadus. Ordained Bishop by Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, Cardinal Leonardo Sandri on  January 11, 2014.
